Egg Adult Larva Pupa The life cycle of the butterfly we plan to design closely follows the life cycle of a regular butterfly but it may very from that of a regular butterfly in the gestation period, wing shape, size, and color of the butterfly. The design of the butterfly would require a knowledge of bioengineering and genetics to determine the genes that are needed for the butterfly to be attracted to the Kudzu plant and not another plant.
