AUTUMN MORNING GRANOLA

14 C. rolled coarse or old-fashioned oats
 

2 C. shelled, roasted sunflower seeds (1/2 lb.)
(3 1/2 lb.) 1 1/2 C. slivered or chopped or
2 C. coconut sliced almonds (1/2 lb.)
3/4 C. cold pressed safflower oil* 1/2 C. Kleen raw or brown sugar
1/2 C. honey 1/4 C. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

1/2  lb. (or more) raisins or dried currants

      *May use other vegetable oils.

Mix together first 5 ingredients. Mix sugar, honey and butter and heat until hot and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Mix well with oat mixture and bake in shallow pans at 3000 for 1½ hours. Cool on paper and add raisins or currants. Store covered. Equals 20 cups cereal
