CREAM CHEESE COCKTAIL SQUARES
1 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 T. finely chopped onion or 1 tsp. onion paste 1 tsp. milk 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 8-oz. pkg. refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
Grated Parmesan cheese Combine cream cheese, onion and milk in a small mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in bacon. Separate dough into 4 rectangles; press perforations to seal. Spread 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons cream cheese mixture on each rectangle. Starting at long side, roll up rectangles and pinch edges to seal. Refrigerate 1/2 hour. Cut each roll into 8 slices. Let come to room temperature before baking. Place slices, cut side down, on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 32 appetizers.
