RED RASPBERRY PIE

1 1/2 C. sugar 1 3-oz. pkg. raspberry Jell-O
1 1/2 C. water 2 drops red good coloring
1/4 C. cornstarch 1 baked pie crust
Pinch salt 1 qt. red raspberries

   Mix sugar, water, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan. Cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Add Jell-O off stove, Add food coloring. Cool, but not until cold. Put a little thickened sauce on top of the baked pie crust. Add red raspberries and then pour sauce over berries and refrigerate. Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
