CREAM CHEESE DANISH
2 8-oz pkg. cream cheese 2 T. lemon juice room temperature 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 3/4 C. sugar 2 8-count cans crescent rolls 1 egg yolk Mix all ingredients together with electric mixer. Flatten one can of rolls and lay flat in bottom of a large 9x13" metal, non-shiny pan. Pour cream cheese mixture in and put remaining can of rolls on top. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, Let cool completely before cutting to avoid tearing.
You may make a glaze of 2 cups powdered sugar mixed with 3 tablespoons boiling water and pour over Danish while hot..
