APPLE BUTTER
Boil 1 gallon cider down to half (1 to 2 hours) then add the following. 1 peck Yellow Delicious apples made into applesauce. Add to citer. Cook down (2 to 5 hours) to one third, then add 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ginger and 1 teaspoon cloves and 4 to 5 cups sugar (to taste) Makes 8-1/2 pints
